Also called personal care homes, board and care homes, and adult care homes, residential care homes are residences with private and semi-private rooms which are frequently run by the owners living in the home. While these small private facilities may have as many as 20 residents, these homes more commonly have 10 or fewer residents at any one time.
We offer assisted living services that can assist with bathing and grooming. Caregivers at Saving Grace can help residents with getting in and out of the shower, dressing, toileting, and may provide the services of a traveling barber or hairdresser.
In terms of meal preparation, Saving Grace residents receive three healthy, home-cooked meals per day. Residents with high blood pressure, diabetes, or other medical conditions should be able to request special diet accommodations. While state licensing does not require 24-hour awake staff, certain Assisted Living facilities may have caregivers awake at night to accommodate your loved one.
We provide residents with entertainment, exercise, and a health and wellness program to keep them busy and active, depending on their alert level, mobility, and care needs. Music therapy, pet therapy, board games, and outdoor excursions are some of the activities available.
Saving Grace provides transportation to and from doctor’s appointments, shopping, and religious worship services for your loved one.

Woodbridge is at 38°38′37″N 77°15′39″W (38.643517, −77.260843). It is located on the peninsula of Linton Neck.[10] According to the United States Census Bureau, in 2000, the CDP has a total area of 10.8 square miles (28 km2), of which 10.5 square miles (27 km2) is land and 0.3 square miles (0.78 km2), or 2.87%, is water. Woodbridge is about 20 miles (32 km) from Washington, D.C.
The 2010 census reconfigured Woodbridge so that the majority of its land area was redesignated Marumsco and Neabsco, Virginia. The southern border of Woodbridge is now Occoquan Road. The area between Occoquan Road and Opitz Boulevard–Rippon Boulevard is now Marumsco. All of the former Woodbridge CDP south of those streets has been designated as Neabsco. However, these areas continue to have postal addresses in “Woodbridge,” which is served by a post office in Marumsco.[3]

Who We Are
Woodbridge Senior Center is a community focal point for active adults 55+. The Center provides a variety of services to include fitness classes, health screenings, educational and recreational programs and arts and crafts, welcome programs, dance and computer classes. Information and referral to other local, state, and national programs and services is available. Volunteer opportunities exist. Limited local transportation from your home to the Center is provided based on eligibility.
Programs for each center can be found in the Center’s monthly newsletters or at the Agency’s website.
The Congregate Meals programs at the centers serve hot lunches daily. Donations are requested. Participants must sign up by 10:30 a.m. for lunch.
